Reducing fuel consumption on all types of engines has become a priority for every government, individual or corporation. That sense of urgency is increasing fast lately, driven by two main factors: The increase on fuel prices and the demand for reduction on carbon emissions generated through fuel burning.

NanoXD, a recent fluid technology based on pure carbons (pure oil) with a unique formula to convert its carbon into nanocarbon spheres, has been showing consistent results to improve the efficiency of engines in two main aspects: Increase on HP and torque and decrease on fuel usage.

In a recent assessment using NanoXD at a Koppert Global unit in Brazil, NanoXD treatment was applied on a 400kVA power generator, showing clear results of efficiency improvements, fuel reduction and consequent carbon emission reduction. The partnership between NanoXD and Koppert do Brazil has been valuable to demonstrate to any company committed to better efficiency and cost reduction.  Koppert of Brazil is part of Koppert Global, a Dutch biotechnology company with strong offering for sustainable agriculture and with company commitment to improving environment resources as part of its values and mission.

How NanoXD Works

NanoXD is applied along with engine lubricant. The product treats the engine during regular equipment operation.  The benefits occur by reducing friction between the internal metal parts of the engine. The nanocarbon-formed spheres then remain permanently coating the surfaces of the parts, dramatically reducing metal-to-metal contact while boost the transfer of energy. These nanocarbon spheres are extremely hard and their strength is comparable to that of diamond.

The results obtained at Koppert show the long-term value of nanocarbon treatment to engine metals. The NanoXD treatment product dissipated and improved the oil quality, which can be measured in the subsequent oil changes.

Any company or entity operating generator engine should consider this type of technology to achieve performance improvements, increase financial gains while addressing ecological concerns.
