GREAT SUCCESS ON A SAILBOAT
NanoXD team completed one more successful oil treatment on a 54 Feet Sailboat with Yanmar 100 HP engine
Great success on the beginning of a lasting partnership with entrepreneur Joao Mina and Ossama Mina.
After applying NanoXD treatment everyone was able to notice immediate and long lasting results:
- Lower noise – From 82.4 to 77.3 decibels
- Lower vibration – From 6.7 para 6.2 ML
- Lower acceleration to reach same idle speed with 750 RPM

Observation about the equipment:
- The boat operates with 2 engines, one for boat and one for generator
- The main engine operates idle at 750 rpm
Results:
- Reduced engine noise – From 82.4 to 77.3 decibels
- Reduced engine vibration – From 6.7 para 6.2 ML
- Reduced acceleration required to reach same idle speed at 750rpm, therefore the boat should also save fuel

Other Observations:
- It was noticeable that after the treatment that the engine started to operate more freely (as mentioned by mechanic Gan) since the engine is now operating with less friction.
- The boat engine does not have electronic fuel injection, therefore the same idle acceleration generated a higher RPM (about 810 RPM), forcing the mechanic to lower the acceleration directly in the engine.
- The reduction of acceleration also resulted in less fuel required.
